Nokia N9 Pros and Cons, dont buy it till you read this

The video player compresses videos

Meego will never be a platform, rather a temporary location or a ghost house. Since its OS is DEAD ON ARRIVAL ( as such a sharp Marketing Strategy that will cut N9's own throat) , you will be haunted with few spooky apps . You may probably stay only for a couple of weeks at most and return home (or wherever you were)

If your buying N9 in hope an Android Virtual machine that compatible with it will show off and compensate your app thirst ,thats not as smart as it seems . Even some flagship Androids are said to be stuttering handling many Android apps and multitasking with horse powerd multiple cores . In N9 you will be stranded with a colonial 1 GHz CPU. Also it lacks some hardware components , which are essential for a lot of Android born apps . So why you jump to a sinking ship when a Windows powerd Nokia clone flagship is set to sail ?

Abandoned platform when other peers get stable and delightful updates

Cannot edit office docs . No app yet that handle it

No ISO settings in cam

Nokia N9 Pros and Cons, dont buy it till you read this

Cutetube app is reportedly unable to download Youtube videos

Only the speaker grill, the usb door and head phone jack is revealed from screen covers . The rest is taken care of and coverd up for nobodys sake

The screen cover that is boxed , nicely catches up and matches with the phones native color

Quad-band GSM , GPRS and EDGE

Gorilla glass display with anti-glare polarizer

Fast f/2.2 lens

A very responsive touchscreen

For good and bad the swipe performs from the very edges of the screen

A record breaking low reflectivity in display

8hours and 40 minutes of intact videoplayback on a single charge ( tested and proven )

An elegant design . ( No its not from Apple ! . You wont believe it, its from Nokia ! )

Speaker and loudspeaker in noisy enviroments are terrible

Intuitive UI

Swift cam operations

Passionate image quality

Ultra fast web browser rendering

Non replacable battery

Messaging department must see some improvement

PC collaboration is another section of great enhancement expectations

Pen Tile matrix( For comparison, Samsung Galaxy S2 uses a conventional matrix with three-subpixels per pixel instead of the PenTile matrix of the first-gen Super AMOLED displays which only uses two subpixels per pixel ) Thus lacks in sharpness, due to the lower number of total subpixels

Slide the lockscreen up and hold for a while , it appears four shortcuts which enable user to open the dialer, messages, web browser and the camera eliminating the necessity to go to the main menu ( if your upto one of them)

The notification icons on the screen-saver and the lockscreen that alert the user of new events , emails, messages and missed calls let him implement the respective app with a single touch on the relevant icon ( as touchwise as Samsung )
